Cool Pictures: Suboptimist (Fujifilm Simulation Recipe)
Today, I put my VHS copy of It! The Terror from Beyond Space in with with the laundry, set to speed wash. I have no idea how a B-movie ended up in my dirties. This is basically where I've been at lately.
This film simulation recipe for X-Trans V cameras, Suboptimist, was an attempt to capture the flavor of my current state. Thankfully, going out and taking pictures and having ready-to-go Superia Xtra 400-ass JPGs helps me get out of that state and into a brighter one where I like to edit RAW photos that didn't pan out with my recipe, mostly stuff indoors. I have to give most of the credit to the base film simulation though, Classic Negative. Shout out to color scientists. And shout out to food bloggers, I totally get why they ramble before getting to the recipe. I've got a lot of stuff to say! And you know what, look at the pictures I took first too.
